Three new weights
Initially published in 2003 with two weights, Morgan Avec in now being publish with three additional weights: Heavy, Extrabold and Medium with their matching italics. These additional weights were designed in 2004-2005 and have been used by various publications internationally. 

¶ As its name infers, Morgan Avec is the serif companion for Morgan Sans and Sans Condensed. Designed two years after its predecessors, Morgan Avec consists now of five weights — three of them new! — ranging from regular to Heavy. Each weight has its own oblique. Along with the three new weights added, the OpenType version of Morgan Avec includes: small caps, table figures, etc., accessible through OpenType features. It also has an extended character set supporting most of latin based languages.

¶ The Morgan Avec, Morgan Sans and Morgan Sans Condensed fonts include a set of extra glyphs, such as several sorts of arrows, ornaments, special bullets, etc.
